The SVC Hockey Team is a tale of two eras. The first ran from 1969 to 1982 with home ice at the Kirk S. Nevin Arena in Greensburg. The team played in the Western Pennsylvania Intercollegiate Hockey Association, the forerunner of todays College Hockey East, against teams from Western Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio and on occasion Western New York.
The team made 5 playoffs appearances and won the Class B Championship in 1976-1977. This section has the history of that first era. Enjoy!
